Our Story

Founded in 2020 'Silver Chilli' was born of Chilli addiction, gardening and love of a good relish.

For several years we had been making Chilli relishes for ourselves and developing a recipe that became utterly delicious!

It was around this time that 'shop bought' relishes gave us no satisfaction and we thought 'other Chilli fans must feel the same way!'

Since this thought, we have strived to make relishes to satisfy all palates, from those who like it 'mild' to those brave souls who like it 'Superhot'.

With a qualified Sommelier in house at Silver Chilli, we were passionate about showing a 'single varietal' chilli in its best light. As a result, each relish is given serious consideration as to how to bring the chosen chilli to the fore. We consider flavour, aroma, colour, upfront heat or delayed heat as well as capsaicin dominance when we decide how our relish is going to be. Only then do we decide on complimentary ingredients (colour of bell pepper, seasoning, and spicing). 

In 2024 we moved from our beloved Cornwall to Wiltshire so a new chapter for Silver Chilli and lots of new opportunities.

We love nothing more than a 'Carpet Picnic' with cheeses, charcuterie, crackers and crusty baguettes with lashings of our homemade relishes.

Silver Chilli relish gives a whole new perspective to burgers and BBQ from which there is no turning back!

As an accompaniment to pork chops, sausages, steaks or dolloped on pizza, if you can think it, it brightens up all meals! 

24 Hour marinading. Add either our relishes or sauces into a ‘sandwich bag’ with whatever you would like to marinade and pop in the fridge.
